Purpose Statement
The Soul Fields resides in the heart of Nature and the Divine Feminine, where a luscious frequency breathes new life into our unraveling and becoming—through the sacred power of wonder—in this immense and often overwhelming time of transition.
The Soul Fields Story
The Soul Fields is more than a name—it’s a living memory, a magically energetic space, and a sacred invitation.
The name comes from the land where I grew up: a 125-acre farm in northeastern Ohio. I moved there at age seven, and the woods, the fields, the creeks, the faeries, and the animals became my playmates and my teachers. It was where I felt a sense of freedom, wonder, and boundless imagination. It was where I first met the Divine and sensed the interconnectedness of all life.
Though that sounds idyllic—and it was in many ways—as I grew older, I weathered many inner storms: trauma realization, depression, deep shadow elements, core wounds, self-limiting beliefs, ancestral karmas, fear-based conditioning, and long stretches of forgetting what it meant to love myself. And so, I returned again and again to those fields—to rest, to heal, to remember the Sacred Magical Child within. The land wiped my tears and helped me grow, teaching me to reconnect with myself and the Divine, season after season, cycle after cycle.
I’ve come to understand that the path is not about arriving at a perfect destination or having all the answers. Life is messy, beautiful, painful, and joyful—all in the same breath. And that’s okay.
As a child, I welcomed the unknown with ease, with curiosity and awe. As an adult, that trust became clouded by thick programming, heavy shadow, and pressurized expectations. I lost touch with innocence, with flow, with faith in myself. It has been a long journey back—and I am still walking it—but I have come far enough now to reach out and walk with others, to meet them where they are on their own healing and evolutionary journeys.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a diverse array of healers, wisdom teachers, and guides—all while continuing to listen to Nature’s gentle teachings. One day, it became clear to me: I am meant to create a space, a platform, a sanctuary for others to find the same depth of healing, connection, and remembering. That vision became The Soul Fields.
One of my earliest memories is walking down the long gravel driveway on a warm summer day, red tennis shoes crunching against the stones. Wild daisies swayed in the breeze and caught my eye. I stopped, bent down, and greeted them before picking a few for my mother. As the roots gave way, I felt a wave of recognition, like I had been here before. A tingly warmth filled my heart—a knowing that I am loved, that the earth is so alive, and that I am part of something magical. That moment never left me.
It is that moment—of connection, of wonder, of love—that carries me still. And it is from this sacred memory that I welcome you to The Soul Fields.
About Sheila Bachmeier
Born in the humble and majestic Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia, Sheila took her first breath, and her little heart began to drum with the ancient land. In 1971, her family moved to a farm in northeastern Ohio where the earth beneath her feet began whispering truths. Growing up as an only child among hay fields and woodlands, wildflowers, the shade of a massive oak tree, and animals of many kinds, she learned to play a different way. These were her childhood stomping grounds, her classroom, her haven where she began to cultivate a deep connection with Nature, Spirit, and her own inner knowing.
Her early years were marked by academic achievement, but she made time for the marching band, the flag corps, and cheerleading, which by nature is exactly who she is—a cheerleader for whoever needs it. This grounding eventually led her to a career in nursing that started at Kent State University and completed at Arizona State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She practiced for over a decade in Labor & Delivery and Intensive Care, walking alongside the thresholds of birth, death, and deep healing. In her later years, she returned to the field again to work in the area of mental health to gain further insight into the human psyche.
In her late 20s a spiritual hunger stirred within her—and never left. What began as a whisper as a child became a wildfire of spiritual inquiry, soul recovery, shadow work, and awakening, leading her to work with wisdom teachers, spiritual guides, multiple healers, and the sacred rhythms of Nature herself. Along the way, she mothered two children, restored historic homes, and explored the vast realms of astrology, esoteric studies, and the sacred feminine. Her first astrology reading with Ellias Lonsdale in 2008 catalyzed a deeper cosmic remembering and a relentless soul ache to excavate lost treasures. Astrology became a cornerstone of her spiritual path. In 2010, she was inspired to create the Star Genesis Wisdom website with Ellias, and in 2011 they began offering teleclasses.
A passionate writer, editor and publisher, she co-published with North Atlantic Books and founded her own imprint, DoLiv Publishing—a name inspired by her children, David and Olivia. Always guided by soul rather than convention, she has remained committed to intuitive creation over industry norms.
According to the Moon Mysteries, she has now stepped fully into her Crone phase where she carries the wisdom of life’s seasons, the stars, and the soil. She joyfully embraces this chapter not as an ending, but as a powerful return. This phase is deepening her relationship with the Divine Feminine and awakening even more wonder in her Sacred Magical Child—who, she now knows, holds keys to the higher realms and to the Earth’s mysteries.
She is the founder of The Soul Fields, a sacred online platform devoted to deep healing, soul remembrance, and conscious evolution. She offers spiritual teachers, healers, and wisdom keepers the opportunity to share their gifts from these fertile grounds. Sheila also offers personal readings tailored to each one’s need.
Her passion is the soul—its mystery, its messiness, its magnificence. She believes in the power of beauty, the guidance of Nature, and the infinite potential that lives in every heart.
She is honored to invite you into The Soul Fields where she has felt and experienced the power of healing and wholeness rise up from the ground and light up the inner sky.
She is so excited to meet you in The Soul Fields.
Sheila of the Soul Fields
(A Poetic Invocation)
Born where the Blue Ridge breathes the sky,
Sheila came earthside on a whisper—
A mountain sigh,
A song of roots and rivers.
In fields of Queen Anne’s Lace and gold,
She wandered wide with childlike grace,
Her teachers wore fur, bark, wing,
And silence was a sacred place.
Alone, but never truly so,
She played with things not all could see—
The spirits, stars, and ancient stones
That speak in tongues of mystery.
She danced through halls of learning bright,
Books and bodies, birth and breath,
In hospitals she held the line
Between life’s edge and holy death.
But soulfire stirred and called her home,
To paths of stars, to dreams once lost,
She followed whispers from the womb
And paid the price and knew the cost.
A mother, mystic, midwife, muse—
She built and broke, she healed and grew.
She read the skies, remembered truths,
And walked with those becoming new.
The Crone now rises in her bone,
Not old, but wholly wise and wild.
She keeps the fire, she tends the grove,
She listens to her inner child.
She birthed a space beyond the veil—
The Soul Fields, where the soul can sing.
A sacred field for those who seek
Their truth, their magic, their becoming.
So come, beloved, bring your ache—
Your longing, wounds, and star-born dreams.
She walks beside you, heart wide open,
Through breakdowns into breakthroughs gleamed.
Where cosmos kisses root and rain,
And soul remembers how to soar,
She waits to meet you, arms outstretched,
At your becoming’s golden door.
