The Current Field

Sitting on the highest hill in the field, I would say this Easter is unfinished.

I cannot rush through crucifixion, the underworld, and resurrection and prepare for Whitsun all in three days. I am still journeying through Easter, with each of the three holy days still in tow—not happening linearly in my body, but drawn out… almost in slow motion, moving back and forth between them with no order, just what my body is calling up and bringing forth.

It flows in its own rhythm.

Working the territory that is flashing up ahead.

Easter Tide is still in motion. Still in progress. Still unfolding—regardless of what the calendar says, what religion says, or what tradition tells us is complete.

This Easter is a call to the deep inside of our sacred vessel—the body.

The Body of Easter

I tasted crucifixion. I stayed in the tomb and crawled out Easter morning.

Sitting on the edge of the hill, I caught my breath between worlds. It was not your traditional Easter morning sunrise service. It was something that put me through the paces—quite the ordeal, an initiatory chamber I could not have anticipated.

I shuddered and shook as if my body remembered this from long ago.

A few hours before midnight on Easter Day, something shifted that I have never felt before. I was in my body for the first time. The entire landscape of my perspective changed. I sat with myself in a swell of connectedness and gratitude, rising from a place I did not know lived inside of me.

There is an ebb and a flow to this Easter tide—bringing us into a whole other dimension of what we call Easter.

Weather Inside the Field

Currently it is quite black outside, with stretches of gray clouds crossing the sky. The stars form their bright patterns regardless, as if breathing prayers down into the Earth.

The grass on the hillside is wet with dew or is it tears of compassion for the long haul we have all been through?

The mostly naked branches of the wood line bow in silence—the witnesses of all that has come and gone, and what is yet to arrive—still waiting, still watching.

This is no ordinary Easter tide.

It is time—that hour in Aquaria—where the alabaster jar spills… where the strike of redemption rings with a clarity… where rebirth is so much more than rebirth… where the sting of death tells its real story—the one that is Christ-centered, the one that restores us to Life, inner and outer.

Perhaps this is the Easter that holds a new story. One that does not rush to resurrection in the old way, but one where we remember how to remain inside the tomb and feel what that really holds.

Death really can bring us to everlasting life.

And while this is true… there is something more.

Whitsun

Once tied up in knots, not knowing what to do or where to go or how to come through, the light and sound and geometry inside the wind approaches—not outwardly invoked, but inwardly, silently seeking for something we can only give a word to—the Holy Spirit.

But do we really know her?

She is outside of us and inside of us at the same time.

Feel the click.

The connection.

The opening.

The breath.

The life current— all moving through us.

For it is the power of Christ and Sophia spiraling within us, uniting us, restoring the original sequence, the original spine, the original tone—the red rose, the blue flame, the stars in a line.

This is no ordinary time.

Whitsun is near.

The white lily of Easter blows her fragrant wind within us.

Three Evenings in the Tide

Ellias will deliver what he has been holding for a long time in his archives, in his inner recesses.

In this 3-night series, the first two evenings open the field.

Then, a necessary pause for integration.

The final night brings us to the threshold of what is truly the mystery.

There is a timing for everything—a season and a purpose to let it go, to lay it on the line, to speak with release.

Stillness shakes her head yes and a warmth rises in these words to thaw what has been frozen in time for thousands of years in the Earth and in us.

We welcome you to the circle.
