Gemini Star Vision—Nature Speaks

Gemini, where are you?

I feel blank, wondering where the voice of Gemini has gone. Silence. This is unusual. It is morning, the sky is gray, the rain is pouring, yet the land reflects many shades of green. The harder the rain falls the brighter the sky is becoming, like the rain is clearing something from an old vision, an old way, an old timeline. 

Tuning into the rain and watching outside the window I see a lone bird on the electric line looking east, waiting. She flies away. Stillness. Oh, wait, she has moved down the line closer to where I sit, wiggling her wings in the rain, now looking west. She takes off and flies east. Stillness again, nothing but the sound of the rain on the tin roof.

Through the rain I hear, well, this is not what you expected Gemini to bring. Most think of Gemini as the twins, opposites, this way and that way, always changing, and some form of communication. Silence again.

Now I see two Canadian geese standing in the tall grass in front of my window taking on the rain, not saying a word, just feeling the earth on their feet and the sweet water cleansing their feathers. Together they walk through the tall grass and enter the low-cut field. Emerging with them are two goslings. They have decided to have their breakfast in the rain.

What does this have to do with Gemini?

Possibly releasing the old known versions and stories we have told about her. Maybe seeing what’s deep underneath the inside where she motions us now to sit in the rain on the earth and with the green of nature and feel the sacred rhythm in the body, in the soul, and in the life that is wildly waking up inside us. I imagine Gemini, especially with Uranus in her sign, is directing us to get in touch with our nervous system states that are the map of where we are and where we can go that might not have been a possibility before. A different kind of communication is coming through Gemini, if we can be like nature and truly attune.

Blessed by the rain

The rain has almost stopped. The Sun is aching to shine from behind the clouds. I can feel it. The birds are singing now, and fields are brimming with conversation. The lone bird has returned to the line as if to say that’s enough, there is nothing more except to be with Gemini in her natural way.

The sky has broken open. The Sun is coming through, and the rain has completed. The lone bird’s counterpart has shown up and sits beside her on the line. Two birds quietly together welcoming the Sun and a new day as the first moments of Gemini open.
